Unchecked Baggage
| (1) |
Except articles specifically permitted by JAZ to be carried into the cabin, Baggage which a Passenger may carry into the cabin shall be, besides one pack of a Passengers personal belongings, as permitted by JAZ' Regulations, which the Passenger carries and retains, one piece of article provided in JAZ' Regulations which can be stowed in an enclosed storage compartment in the cabin or under the seat in front of the Passenger, the sum of the three dimensions of which shall not exceed 115 centimeters (45 inches); provided that the total weight of such articles shall not exceed 10 kilograms(22 pounds). A Passenger shall not carry into the cabin any Baggage which JAZ deems cannot be stowed in safety in the cabin. |
| (2) |
JAZ will permit a Passenger to carry into the cabin articles not suitable for Carriage in a cargo compartment (such as fragile musical instruments) only if a prior due notice of such article is given to, and a prior permission to such Carriage is granted by, JAZ. Carriage of such Baggage shall be subject to a charge provided in JAZ' Regulations. |

| (E) |
Free Baggage Allowance
| (1) |
The total free Baggage allowance of Checked and Unchecked Baggage of each Passenger shall be as follows:
| (a) |
(a) a Passenger paying a first class fare shall, unless otherwise provided in JAZ' Regulations, receive a free Checked Baggage allowance of 40 kilograms (88 pounds); |
| (b) |
a Passenger paying an intermediate class fare shall, unless otherwise provided in JAZ' Regulations, receive a free Checked Baggage allowance of 30 kilograms (66 pounds); |
| (c) |
a Passenger paying an economy class fare shall, unless otherwise provided in JAZ' Regulations, receive a free Checked Baggage allowance of 20 kilograms (44 pounds); and |
| (d) |
in addition to the preceding (a), (b) and (c), a Passenger shall, unless otherwise provided in JAZ' Regulations, receive a free Baggage allowance of Unchecked Baggage as described in sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph (D) of this Article. |
| (e) |
Notwithstanding the preceding (a),(b), (c) and (d), an Infant paying an Infant fare shall receive a free Baggage allowance of 10 kilograms (22 pounds) for Checked Baggage plus either one fully collapsible stroller/ pushchair or Infant's carrying basket or Infant's car seat. |

| (2) |
Notwithstanding the preceding sub-paragraph (1), in the case of Carriage from or to a point or points in the United States of America, Canada or any other country provided in JAZ' Regulations, the free Baggage allowance for each Passenger shall be as follows:
| (a) |
a Passenger paying a first or intermediate class fare shall receive a free Checked Baggage allowance of two pieces of Baggage the weight of each piece of which shall not exceed 32 kilograms (70 pounds); provided that the sum of the three dimensions of each piece shall not exceed 158 centimeters (62 inches); |
| (b) |
a Passenger paying an economy class fare shall receive a free Checked Baggage allowance of two pieces of Baggage the weight of each piece of which shall not exceed 23 kilograms (50 pounds); provided that the aggregated sum of the three dimensions of those two pieces shall not exceed 273 centimeters (107 inches) and the sum of the three dimensions of each piece shall not exceed 158 centimeters (62 inches); |
| (c) |
in addition to the preceding (a) and (b), a Passenger shall, unless otherwise provided in JAZ' Regulations , receive a free Baggage allowance of Unchecked Baggage as described in sub-paragraph(1) of paragraph(D) of this Article ; and |
| (d) |
notwithstanding the preceding (a),(b) and (c), an Infant paying an Infant fare shall receive a free Baggage allowance of one piece of Checked Baggage the sum of the three dimensions of which shall not exceed 115 centimeters (45 inches) plus either of one fully collapsible stroller/pushchair or Infant's carrying basket or Infant's car seat. |
| (e) |
Each of the articles set forth below may be deemed, irrespective of its actual dimensions, a piece of Baggage the sum of the three dimensions of which is 158 centimeters (62 inches).
| (i) |
one sleeping bag or bedroll |
| (ii) |
one rucksack, knapsack or back sack |
| (iii) |
one pair of snow skis with one pair of ski poles and one pair of ski boots |
| (iv) |
one golf bag containing golf clubs and one pair of golf shoes |
| (v) |
one duffle-type bag |
| (vi) |
one suitably packed collapsible bicycle |
| (vii) |
one portable musical instruments not exceeding 100 centimeters (39 inches) in length |
| (viii) |
such other articles as are provided in JAZ' Regulations |

| (3) |
The free Baggage allowance for each portion of a trip will be that applicable to the class of services for which the fare is paid. |
| (4) |
In the event that two or more Passengers travelling on the same flight check their Baggage at the same time to be carried by JAZ to the same place, JAZ may, upon those Passengers request, provide them collectively with a free Baggage allowance equal to the aggregated individual free Baggage allowance in respect of weight or number of pieces. |

| (F) |
Special Free Baggage Allowance
| In addition to the free Baggage allowance provided in the preceding paragraph (E) above, JAZ will carry as Baggage, without additional charge, a Passengers personal belongings. permitted by JAZ' Regulations only when the Passenger carries and retains them. |

| (G) |
Excess Baggage
| (1) |
Unless otherwise provided in JAZ' Regulations, Baggage weighing in excess of the applicable free Baggage allowance shall be charged at the rate per kilogram (2.2 pounds) of one and one-half percent (1.5%) of the highest normal direct adult one way economy class fare in effect on the date of issuance of an excess Baggage ticket. |
| (2) |
Notwithstanding the preceding sub-paragraph (1), in the case of Carriage involving a point or points in the United States of America, Canada or any other country provided in JAZ' Regulations as the place of departure or the Destination, Baggage in excess of the free Baggage allowance set forth in sub-paragraph (2) of paragraph (E) of this Article shall be subject to the applicable excess Baggage charge provided in JAZ' Regulations. |
| (3) |
Unless JAZ otherwise agrees in advance with a Passenger, JAZ may carry the Passenger's Baggage which is in excess of the applicable free Baggage allowance on any other flight or by any other transportation service. |
