５月の思い出： 雲の上はいつも晴れ！
Every cloud has a silver lining!

辛い時に空を見上げると、自分の悩みや存在すらもちっぽけに思える。　そんな経験は誰にでもあるのではないでしょうか。  

私たちの職場は、まさに雲の上。　どしゃぶりの雨も、灰色のどんより雲も、飛び越えるとそこは青い空。　日々の喧騒をもどこかに置いてきてしまったような、そんな気にさせてくれます。

窓から見える空は、路線によって違った表情を見せます。　富士山は、上空からみると記憶よりもはるかに大きく、デリーに向かう便では、エベレスト山のあるヒマラヤ山脈が厳かに連なります。

また、オーストラリアからは、さんご礁の美しいグレートバリアリーフや、蝶々の形をしたバタフライアイランドが楽しめます。　実はこの島、見た人に幸せを運ぶと言われているんです！　雲がかかって見えないことも多いので、晴れている日には私たちもお客様に混ざって窓に張り付いてしまいます。

そんな機内からの景色を見ると、長時間のフライトの疲れもどこへやら。
私たちクルーの元気の源は、きっとこういったところにあるのかもしれません。

機内では睡眠！もしくは映画！という方も、是非空の景色も楽しんでみてくださいね。

雲の上はいつも晴れ！

またお目にかかります。

Looking up the sky in depressed emotion, it always makes me feel what a tiny thing I am worrying over and what a small existence I am. 　Haven't you ever had same feeling before?

Cabin attendants office is located on the cloud. 　Even in the day of heavy rain, my office is surrounded with blue sky over the gray dismal cloud layer. 　The sky seen from the aircraft, it varies upon the routes.

Mt. Fuji looks far much bigger than I originally expected. 　In the fight to New Delhi, the Himalayan mountains famous with Mt. Everest can be seen solemnly.

On the route to Australia we can see the great barrier reef with beautiful coral reef and butterfly island exactly whose shape is butterfly.  Do you know that s/he who could watch the island can be happy?
Because that the island is some times unable to be seen covered with cloud, cabin attendants also try to find out the island sticking to the aircraft window.

Such a beautiful scenes from the aircraft makes us forget about the fatigue in the long-haul flight. 　I believe that the resource of crew's energy is in this kind of events.

Are you enjoying sleeping or watching movies?  　Watching out the outside of the aircraft can give you another joy.
