3月の思い出：ビールはミルク？！ おかきは消火器？！
a Milk for a Beer, an extinguisher for a cracker

飛行機の中ではエンジン音が響いているため聞き間違いがよく起こります。下の例は極端ですが、忙しい時にはこのように聞こえてしまうんですね。ちょっと可笑しいですが本当にあった話です。

Cabin attendants are having difficulty in catching sounds in the cabin because of aircraft engine noise. The cartoons are extreme case but it really happens in the cabin when both cabin attendants are quite working hard.

CA : What would you like to drink, Sir ?

A passenger : A beer please.

CA : A milk, sir ?

Passenger : !!

CA : I am awfully sorry sir!

Passenger : I want to have a beer.......

CA A : Hi Ms.B Could you bring crackers ?

CA B : Certainly.

 CA B : Is this what you want ?

          an extinguisher ?

CA A: Definitely not......

      crackers = okaki (in Japanese)

      extinguisher = shokaki
