こんにちは。皆さんは機内でどのように過ごされますか？

最近はJALウェイズでも全席個人用画面のついた機材による運航も増え、また携帯用ゲーム機などの普及で思いおもいの時間を使われている事と思います。
それでも機内はやはり、様々な出会いの場。私はお客様とお話するのも毎フライト楽しみにしています。自分の担当する席にお子様が居るとおしゃべりしに行く事が多いです。機内にはオモチャの他に絵本やマンガ、絵ハガキなども用意されています。それらを持って行ってあげると、初めは恥ずかしがっていたお子様からお手紙やイラストを手渡されるといった嬉しい出来事もありました。

一番印象に残っているのは、そうして打ち解けてくれた小さな女の子に「大きくなったら私もスチュワーデスさんになりたい！！」と言ってもらえた事。働いている私達の姿を見てそう言ってもらえるのはとても嬉しいものです。

退屈そうなお客様や、なかなかお休みになれない方にも話しかけに行ってしまいます。私自身が飛行機の窓から見える風景が好きなのできれいな島や日の出を教えて差し上げたり、何気ない一言から会話が弾むというのも楽しみのひとつです。一度お話をすると顔と名前を覚えて頂けるので傍を通る度に言葉はなくてもお互い笑顔がでたりすると、お客様との距離も縮まったような気がします。

お仕事やご旅行のあとでは機内でぐっすり眠ってします、という方も多いと思いますが機会があれば客室乗務員とも色々お話してみてくださいね。JALウェイズにはタイ人乗務員も乗っているので彼女達とも日本語で、英語で、楽しんでみてはいかがでしょうか？滞在地だけでなく飛行機も楽しい思い出のひとつにして頂けたら、と思っています。

Hi ! How do you spend your time during your flight to destination ? I believe that some of you have already tried In-flight entertainment system dedicated to each sheets or that some of you might play with your portable PC based game tools. On the other hand the flight enables you to bring unexpected wonderful meeting, because of which I am looking forward to having talks with passengers in every flights. So whenever I find any children taking seat in the compartment I am taking care of, I always try to talk them.
We equip many toys and books and cartoon magazines and postcards in aircraft. Whenever I walk up to those little guests with those goods, they eventually get familiar with me and become good friends and they sometimes offered me a handwriting letter and illustration, which made me so happy. What I got impressed most was that there was a girl who said me that she would be a cabin attendant in her future. I was very happy to have such a comment from the passengers who actually spent time with me.
So I sometimes try to speak to those who look bored or seems not sleepy. I always talk to such passengers on the beautiful islands and its beautiful sunsets which are inspired from the scenery from the outside of aircraft windows.
Once we start conversation on involuntary topic, which sometimes recreates another topics to make more the conversation enjoyable.
So after the short time conversation, we can exchange nice smiles, which makes me feel that I could feel the passenger's feeling more closely.
Are you a good sleeper in the cabin ? Cabin attendants are very happy to talk to you. Please do talk to us without hesitation. As JALways has Thai cabin crews, you can enjoy the conversation in Japanese and English. I do believe that such a short conversation would make a small portion of good memory of your journey and we are more than happy if we could be of your help to make your journey more exciting and happy.
